Steve Simpson has been creating award winning illustration for major ad & design companies for the last 20 years. His characters have appeared on everything from postage stamps to billboards, snack packaging to chilli bottles. In recent years he's been illustrating children's books both at home and in the US. Most recently Steve picked up a bell at The Institute of Creative Advertising & Design (ICAD) awards for his Inferno Chilli label design. Steve also won gold in the Association of Illustrators (UK) Images 32 for his Pure Pie branding and has regularly had work accepted for The Society of Illustrators (NY), 3x3 Mag awards, Applied Arts, Communication

I really love Steve's tactile, child-like vector-based illustrative style which is jam-packed full of colour and character, along with creative and playful hand-rendered typefaces which really bring his designs to life. Brilliant colour palettes and character design applied throughout- I want to learn how to combine different elements and design outcomes like this- really brilliant stuff.
