Creating a definitive list of studios to contact RE studio visits/industry experience over the next couple of weeks, after a couple of months of searching.
The studios below have certain qualities which really attract me to them- be it experience and expertise in the certain fields I see myself working in, or could in the future, as well as skills I think I would really benefit from.


From now on, I aim to contact at least one studio a day. Whilst my online presence, fortunately, is quite strong, a PDF portfolio/print portfolio of my work is still yet to be made, and I hope to get this completed by the end of the week, though I will still go on to contact the studios to make some on-the-face contact, nevertheless.

OUGD202//Additional feedback question.

Got a quick email from tutor Fred today with an additional question to be incorporated into the standardised module feedback that we receive after the end of each module.

Design Production for digital//Module feedback.

Module feedback I received today from my Design Production for Digital module- really happy with the grade I received, and quite surprised to be honest! Not at all shocked that the design outcome section of the module grading was my weakest area, as, admittedly, I found the design production stage quite difficult in this entirely new and (comparatively) complex software programme. Although not my best grade, I am pleased with what I got out of the module and feel that if I were to repeat it there is so much more I could have done with it, or could have learnt from it to go on to utilise in designing a much crisper, professional- looking design outcome.


Again, like with the majority of my projects, I'm pleased with the grade I received for my research and analysis and hope to keep this up for all of my projects in the future- however,  I need to balance it a little more to ensure that my design outcomes are of equal grading measure.

Design Production for Digital//Self- Evaluation.

My final submitted piece for the Design Production for Digital module- my self- evaluation and written analysis of my development, strengths and weaknesses throughout Studio Brief One and Two throughout the module.

Design Production for Digital//Top 10//Presentation of design outcomes.

This afternoon in the a studio workshop, we had our very last opportunity to take feedback from our peers about our design development through the module- and, in particular, looking at our final outcome designs and how effective they are in terms of visual communication, technique and ability in terms of general software use (as well as testing if our burnt DVDs were working before submission!).


In a small group, we went round assessing the work of two other members within the group- mine being marked by Claudia and Charlotte. I was really happy with the feedback I received (which can be seen in the Issuu PDF document above)- and it's probably higher than any other mark I've been given in this category before (Haha! I am usually more successful with my (I quote) "Shit hot" design context and research, but I've definitely tried to level it out  a little more this time). 


Also some constructive points from other members of the group with key points that I will try to look at potentially editing and altering (particularly the format for file saving) before submission and module deadline tomorrow afternoon.

Design Production for Digital//Top 10//Interim Evaluation.

Self-assessment interim evaluation notes for my personal views of my development throughout the Design Production for Digital module so far- really a reflection on just how much I have to do for the next two weeks before the module hand in- recently having found it quite difficult in terms of juggling my various Uni briefs, and not doing as much development as I should through the OUGD202 brief.

By the end of this week (inc. weekend) I am to have all of my storyboards (both title sequence and 4 x idents) complete as well as having made all my static images for my motion design outcomes- and then an intense week and a half before hand in. A lot to do.
