LCA Teaching Assistance//Shift III.

Today was my third session working as a teaching assistant for the after school 14-16 year old after school art club (specialising in print) with tutors Gareth and Diane at the LCA Blenheim Walk building.

Again, another great session today- working with lino block printing onto fabric- a real "blast from the past" from my college days, and a great way to spend my time helping others, as well as indulging in some outside of graphics art and design work- along with the print module currently working on in my major University work (see my Design Practice for more details) I feel really inspired to try out some more screenprinting and finishing techniques, if only in my spare time (what spare time?, I do hear you ask!)- would be great to get in to do some screenprinted designs pre- Reetsweet/Wizarding Winter Craft Fairs (Leeds/Maccesfield) I am selling at in December.

So sad that it's my last shift next week- I've thoroughly enjoyed my working time so far, and Gareth and Diane have been truly wonderful to work with- definitely going to look out for more opportunities like this in the future.
